Merry Christmas

On this blessed day when we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ (even though he was actually born in the fall two years before the three wise men showed up to give him some goodies). So that means I don't have a page for you today.
Actually, I won't have a page for the next 12 or so days since I'm going on holiday. So The Page- a-Day Experiment is on hiatus until I return home. So have a wonderful rest of Christmas Day and a happy and safe New Year!

Full Line Up

Another double dip!

Misadventures in Physics is well on its way. I finally have the cast line up done, barring any corrections. Woot! This is by far the largest thing I've done. The original is 17400 pixels long! Due to my crap computer I have to wait about a minute everytime I try to save it.

Alright, I'm done complaining.

I feel like a cheap dirty whore. I'm double dipping again. I wanted to put up a brand new drawing that didn't involve any of my current projects. That's not going to happen tonight. So here's half of the line up for the web comic I'm working on, pre rendered. It'll look better tomorrow.

The Oldest Story

Here's a picture of three of my oldest characters. I've been working on a fantasy book/world/comic/rpg since 1998, if not further back than that. I don't know how many revisions I've done but one day, God willing, I'll have something done with it.

Having to draw every single day is very taxing but I'm coming up with all sorts of cool stuff. This is a robotic assassin more commonly called Reaper. Awesome.

Thoreau and Alistair Picture Book

Here are two of the bit characters in my picture book. It was weird to draw both of them with soft edges, since in the comic they're hard killers with rough edges all over. Well Throeau not so much since he's just big dumb and innocent.

Whew! Just slid in with barely two hours of the day left. Anyhoo, here's Rincewind in one of my favorite Discworld novels, Interesting Times, from author Terry Pratchett. He's wearing Noke shoes, because Rincewind knows that when everything is chasing you, comfort is key.

Nathan Fillion Done

So this is the finished portrait. "But it doesn't look like him!" you exclaim. You are right. But I am finished with this piece. This horrible, ugly piece of a piece. From now on, portraits will be done in charcoal or, at the very least, not mechanical pencil (what was I thinking?) Thank God no one actually sees this blog!

Observation Deck

I'm not a painter, nor am I a technical artist, so this is what I crapped out. This is nothing like I imagined, although I think the glass came out pretty well. I think this is also my first painting of space.
